One of Workvine’s client's – Ark Health, has been nominated in a category at the Employee Engagement Awards 2016 to be hosted in January next year at the Wembley Stadium in London.

Ark Health purchased the Staffbase Employee App in February 2016 with the goal of improving their internal communications. The App allows employees to provide ideas and feedback regarding the company as a whole, as well as keep up to date with regular news.

After 8 months, 520 of Ark Health’s 800 employees (65%) were said to be involved with the Ark App on a daily basis and 43% of those employees regularly submitted comments and suggestions. This approach has ensured that all employees feel comfortable in being part of a whole and contributing to a wide-ranging team. That success has escalated to the point that where, on November 11th, Ark Health has now been publicly recognised for their internal achievements and shortlisted for an award at the Employee Engagement Awards 2016.

The Employee Engagement Awards are one of the few award ceremonies to celebrate engagement in the workplace. They bring together a variety of companies and employers, all of which are contributing engagement initiatives and changing the employee experience for the better. The ceremony will be hosted at Wembley Stadium in London on January 26th 2017. The event will announce the winners of the 17 categories, of which Ark Health has been nominated in the category of SMB Company of the Year category. This award recognises companies with 0-500 employees who have been successful in engaging with their workforce and in turn, allowing them to fully engage with the company.

The Ark App was instrumental in securing Ark Health its nomination. They presented their work to the judges who were very impressed with the initiative and shortlisted selected them to have a place among the finalists. They will be competing for the award with companies such as La Fosse Associates and Trustpilot. Other companies nominated in other categories include Lloyd’s Banking Group, Virgin Trains, and Westfield Health.

Colin Murray will be hosting the event, which will see the winners announced during a black tie Gala Dinner, complete with a champagne reception and a three course dinner with wine. The event will also allow business leaders the opportunity to network with one another and discuss the engagement practices that have worked for them and how they can take it even further in 2017.

This nomination represents the culmination of almost a year’s worth of work from Ark Health. Workvine and Staffbase congratulate them on using their app to create an engaging workplace that is now in a better position to cater to their employees’ needs.  For more information, please follow the link to the event’s official website: http://uk.ee-awards.com/
