It is a triumphant time for Neovia. The logistics company has won recognition as one of Britain's Healthiest Workplaces, a prestigious award cementing Neovia's status as an employee-driven company and the culmination of a long journey to their current status.

2017 marks the fifth year for Britain's Healthiest Workplace; an annual survey undertaken by thousands of employees from hundreds of organisations across the UK. The survey focuses on health and emotional wellbeing in the workplace and the companies that best encourage it. This year has seen 31,950 employees from 167 organisations take part in the survey, with Neovia as one of the contenders for an award.

Neovia's path to the awards began when their management noted a need to engage with their employees on the subject of emotional and healthy wellbeing. However, at the time, Neovia didn't have such a platform to undertake such a task...

...until they came across an Employee App. Provided by Workvine, the app gave Neovia the perfect opportunity to connect with its entire workforce in every way possible. Neovia management and Workvine worked together to create a series of articles called 'Wellbeing Wednesday', which focused on all aspects of health; sleeping, stress management, health eating, exercise, etc. This diverse, yet encouraging content was popular with employees linked to the app. The articles would go on to act as a ticket for Neovia to the Britain's Healthiest Workplace survey.

Having participated in the awards for the last two years, the wellbeing articles, and by extension, the employee app, gave Neovia the final push they needed to succeed in attain the award in the category of Most Improved Organisation – Medium-Sized, alongside MB Aerospace Holdings and Fareham College. Other companies to walk away winners were Adidas, PayPal and the Dell Corporation.

There has been a great deal of commitment from Neovia to ensure employee engagement is strong within their company, and thus to receive public recognition from such a notable award group is simply the cherry on this victory cake.
